Good morning,
I need your help and advice on a situation that I believe may be a scam. Here's what happened:
A person on social media recommended that I set up a virtual wallet on Paybis to buy bitcoins, which I did. Then, he instructed me to deposit bitcoins into a trading account on fxodexmarket.com, which I did. After making the deposit, I shared screenshots of my trading account as requested.
Then my trading account was suspended and the person claimed to have received the information from the platform (which seems suspicious). I received a message that my account was suspended due to 鈥渓ow application signal activity鈥� and that I needed to purchase an MT4+1 trading signal to continue trading. Prices ranged from $900 for 3 months to $5,000 for lifetime access.
I am really concerned because I was told to make a payment to a bitcoin wallet address provided by this person. I am wondering if this is a scam and if there is any chance of recovering my funds. Has anyone had a similar experience or can advise on how to proceed?
